Rio de Janeiro – Brazilian industrial production had expansion of 0.4% from September to October, after having remained stable for two months. In comparison with October last year, there was growth of 2.1%, which shows the rhythm of intense expansion as against the previous months.
With the result of the Industrial Monthly Research, disclosed on Thursday (2) by the Brazilian Institute for Geography and Statistics (IBGE), Brazilian industrial production has grown over 11.8%, both from January to October and over the last 12 months ending in October. Therefore, the trajectory of elevation that started in 2009 continues.
In the accumulated result for the last 12 months, the result is the highest of the entire historic series in the research, which started in 1991.
