Rio de Janeiro – Brazil’s Industry Confidence Index climbed 1.5 point to 92.3 on a 0-200 scale in its August preview. According to think tank Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), which releases the index, the increment shows industry business owners’ confidence regarding present and future.
The Current Scenario Index edged up 0.9 point to 89.3. The Expectations Index was up 1.9 point to 95.3.
