Brasília – Brazilian manufacturing and industrial leaders are confident again. The Industrial Entrepreneur Confidence Index (Icei) improved 4.2 points from July to August 2016 and reached 51.5 points.
With the result, the index surpassed the threshold mark of 50 points, which hadn’t happened since March 2014, indicating that manufacturers and industrials are confident again, reported this Tuesday (16) the National Federation of Industry (CNI). According to CNI, the current confidence recovery trend began in April.
The confidence index of small and medium-sized companies is near the threshold line at 48.9 and 50.7 points, respectively. Large companies are more confident with the index at 53.1 points.
