Brasília – The Brazilian industry started 2015 in decline, according to the survey Industry Indicators, released this Tuesday (5th) by the National Confederation of Industry (CNI). Data from Q1 shows a retraction of revenue, hours worked, jobs, total wages paid and average income, in comparison to the same 2014 period.
Hours worked and revenue were the ones to decline the most, with a drop of 8.5% and 6%, respectively, in comparison to 2014 Q1. In this period, total wages paid declined 4.1%, with jobs dropping 2.9%. Average income declined 0.2% over last year’s Q1.
