São Paulo – Internacional, a football team from the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, won the Dubai Cup yesterday (7), in the United Arab Emirates. The Brazilian team defeated Inter Milan by 2 x 1. According to Brazilian sports news site Lancenet, the victory goals were by Fernandão, in the first half, and Nilmar, with a bicycle kick goal, in the second half.
Dubai Cup, which began on Saturday, is a competition with friendly games between teams that are currently or have already been international champions. The Brazilian team was the Fifa Club World Cup Champion in 2006.
