São Paulo – The number of passengers arriving in Brazil on international flights in July increased by 33% over the same month of last year. According to data supplied by the Brazilian Airport Infrastructure Company (Infraero), 753,000 passengers arrived in the country during the month.
From January until July, 4.4 million passengers on international flights arrived in the country, a record-high for the period, and a figure 9.12% higher than the previous best result between January and July, recorded in 2005.
