São Paulo – International arrivals in Brazil were up in the first half of this year, at 4.62 million. The figure for the same period of last year was 4.35 million, according to figures issued by the Ministry of Tourism. Domestic arrivals were up as well, from 38 million to 40.8 million.
In July this year, domestic and international arrivals in Brazil were up 12.4% and 12.6%, respectively, from the same month of last year. The result is a monthly all-time high. Last month, there were 6.8 million domestic and 733,197 international arrivals to Brazil.
