Amman – Jordanian expatriates wired home a combined USD 600 million in January and February, up 4% from a year ago, Petra reported quoting Jordanian Central Bank figures this Wednesday (20).
The Central Bank said February alone saw USD 278 million in remittances, up 3.5% year-on-year. Remittances by expatriates are a major source of revenue for Jordan.
