São Paulo – Executives from Jumeirah Group, a luxury hotel chain in the United Arab Emirates, visited the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce offices in São Paulo on Friday (29) to speak about the group’s activities and plans in Brazil. As informed by ANBA yesterday (28), the group is eyeing the potential of Brazilian tourists.
The vice presidents of Operations, Gary Schweikert, and Sales and Marketing, Thomas Civitano, both for the Americas, travelled in the company of the company’s sales director in New York, Jose Montoya. They met the secretary general at the Arab Brazilian Chamber, Michel Alaby, director Bechara Ibrahim and Marketing manager Andrea Monteiro Uhlmann.
According to Bechara, the Arab Brazilian Chamber has already promoted several events at group hotels in Dubai, where Jumeirah manages nine hotels, as well as two in London and one in New York. At the meeting, the executives said they believe in the potential of Brazilian tourists, and that several Brazilian travel agents already work with the group.
Montoya also spoke about different products offered by Jumeirah. According to him, the group is always seeking special products for special places, with great satisfaction.
Alaby spoke about the several activities of the Arab Brazilian Chamber and said the organisation is open to help them. Up to the moment, Jumeirah, which only manages hotels, has just one project forecasted for South America, Jumeirah Culu Culu Polo Resort, in Argentina.
