São Paulo – Jumeirah The Meydan is the new five-star hotel of the Jumeirah Group, a luxury hotel chain headquartered in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. The hotel is located in the Meydan City complex, a sports and business centre 15 minutes away from the downtown area and the Dubai International Airport.
According to information disclosed by the group’s press office, the enterprise is the only luxury hotel in the world located next to a horse race track. The establishment received its first guests in early 2010. Ever since, it has hosted the official opening of the horse track and the 15th Dubai World Cup, a horse race.
The hotel has 285 apartments and luxury suites – and 95% of the rooms have a view to the race track –, a conference hall for up to 400 people, and a free pass to the Jumeirah Group’s Wild Wadi Waterpark.
Presently, the international luxury hotel chain includes Burj Al Arab, which is the emirate’s postcard, the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Madinat Jumeirah and Jumeirah Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa, all in Dubai; the Jumeirah Carlton Tower and Jumeirah Lowndess Hotel, in London; and the Jumeirah Essex House, in New York.
