São Paulo – The Jumeirah hotel group, based in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, announced this Monday (23rd) that it has signed an agreement between the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, which belongs to the group, and the Beijing Hospitality Institute, in China.
Through the agreement, the two institutions will offer an exchange programme to students in their graduate and postgraduate courses. Both institutions are accredited by the Ecole Hôtelière, in Lausanne, Switzerland, according to a statement issued by Jumeirah group.
The statement adds that the first hotel of the Jumeirah chain in China was opened in March this year. It is the five-star Jumeirah Himalayas, located in Shanghai. According to the company, five other enterprises are under construction in the Chinese cities of Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Sanya, Macau and Qiandaohu.
The Dubai-based hotel chain specializes in luxury hotels and in addition to China, it manages establishments in the Emirates, London and New York.
