A delegation from Ladayn Polymer Park is currently in São Paulo to present benefits to businesses in Brazil and invite them to manufacture plastic products out of Oman using local raw materials.  The delegates were welcomed at the Arab Chamber this Monday (18).

Brazil’s president officially launched the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty this Monday (18) during the G20 Summit. Arab signatory nations include Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE, Jordan, Lebanon, Mauritania, Palestine, Somalia, Sudan, and Tunisia.

Saudi Arabia’s minister of Finance, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, praised Brazil’s agenda execution. He has joined the G20 Summit in Rio alongside the Saudi foreign minister Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, who is attending the event on behalf of crown prince and prime minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The Brazilian industry could benefit from ongoing investments in the region. During a seminar held by the Think Plastic Brazil program, Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce head of International Consulting Karen Mizuta discussed opportunities for Brazilian businesses.
