Leather sales from Brazil to the Arabs increased 78%
Brazil earned US$ 1.79 million from leather exports to the League of Arab States in 2006, surpassing the US$ 1 million revenue in 2005. Businessmen in the sector believe that sales to the region in 2007 should continue growing, since industries intend to seek alternative, less traditional markets, as is the case with Arab nations.
