São Paulo – The International Leather and Footwear Salon will start next Tuesday (31st) in Gramado, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, counting on the presence of importers. According to the organizers, groups of buyers from ten different countries will attend the event, which will continue until June 2nd.
The fair will be held at Serra Park and should be attended by participants from Ecuador, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Costa Rica, Chile, the United States, Argentina, Colombia and Venezuela. There will be distributors, importers and buyers from store chains in attendance. The group will pay visits to the booths of companies enrolled for the fair.
The Salon is organized by Merkator Feiras e Eventos. It will include a project named Fábrica de Artefatos (Artefact Factory), in which the development processes for four different models of purses will be shown. The Studio Bag company and the Brazilian Institute of Technology for Leather, Footwear and Artefacts (IBTeC) are in charge of the project.
