São Paulo – This morning (29th), the Brazilian Lower House paid a tribute on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, created by the United Nations (UN). November 29th was the date in which the UN Partition Plan for the Palestine was approved, in 1947. The ceremony was attended by the president at the Lower House, Arlindo Chinaglia, and the Palestinian ambassador to Brazil, Mayada Bamie.
Tomorrow, the Legislative Assembly of the State of São Paulo will pay tribute to the Palestinian people. The solemn session, to be carried out by request of representatives Said Mourad and Fernando Capez, to be held at 08:00 pm at the Plenary "Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek de Oliveira."
