São Paulo – Mauritania, an Arab country located in Africa, decided to establish a fund to support culture, the youth and sports, according to an article published on the African news agency Panapress. The announcement was made by the Mauritanian minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Cissé Mint Cheikh El Boidé.
The fund will be managed with 1% of funds originated from the customs sector. According to the minister, the funds will finance projects that will generate revenues to the youth. The funds will also be allocated to the improvement of culture and sports infrastructure, as well as to supporting these two areas and establish the National Music Institute.
