São Paulo – The African Development Bank (ADB) has provided 77 loans to Mauritania since its inception in 1972, the African News outlet Panapress reported this Thursday (18).
The loans amounted to USD 845 million, according to the ADB’s representative in Mauritania, Marcelin Ndong Ntah; 40% of the cash went into the mining industry. Credit was also supplied for the water, energy and transportation, agriculture, finance industries and for social projects.
