Brasília – The Brazilian minister of Finance Henrique Meirelles said this Thursday (6) that the economic growth forecast for this year will remain at 0.5%. He spoke to the press on arriving at a hotel in Hamburg, Germany to attend the G20 meeting.
On June 28th Meirelles had said that the country’s GDP should grow less than previously forecasted by the government. According to him, the year-on-year GDP growth forecast for Q4 is 2%.
