São Paulo – Brazilian shoe component industries can apply now to participate in a business mission to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates from March 29 to April 1 next year. The segment comprises producers of inputs used in manufacturing leather, shoes, parts, and components, including everything from soles, insoles, heels, and leather itself to chemicals, textiles, grids, molds, and other pieces.
The mission is an initiative of the sector’s internationalization project, By Brasil Components, Machinery and Chemicals, carried out by the Brazilian Association of Shoe and Leather Components Industries (Assintecal) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).
Companies participating in the mission will exhibit at the Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APLF), which will take place outside Hong Kong for the first time, and get to know the retail structure of the leading fashion brands in the UAE. The number of companies in the mission is limited, and registration can be made through the email: contato@assintecal.org.br. Any companies from the segment, not just members of the internationalization project, can participate.
In a press release, the International Market manager at Assintecal, Luiz Ribas Júnior, stated Dubai is currently one of the most prominent global business hubs, attracting increased buyers, not just from the Arab world. He highlights the significant advance in vaccination against COVID-19 in the UAE. “The expectation of holding the show, in this context, is excellent,” stated the executive.
