São Paulo – Mobile telephony in Brazil registered another 1.2 million numbers in July. Up to the seventh month of the year, there were 93 million telephone numbers operating in the country, a volume 1.4% greater than the total registered in June.
Of the total, around 74 million are prepaid and 18 million are postpaid monthly lines. This was the third best monthly result for the year. It is also the best value for a month of July in the history of mobile telephony in Brazil. The information was supplied by the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel).
