São Paulo – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil said on Tuesday (25) that the Moroccan government has granted agrément to diplomat Alexandre Guido Lopes Parola (pictured) to be the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Brazil to Morocco.
Agrément is the agreement by a state to receive members of a diplomatic member from a foreign country. The designation will be examined by the Brazilian Federal Senate, as per the legal procedure required in Brazil.
According to the Ministry, Parola is currently a delegate from Brazil to international economic organizations based in Paris and was previously a permanent representative of Brazil in the World Trade Organization (WTO) and other economic organizations based in Geneve, Switzerland.
