Marrakech – Morocco will spend over USD 40 billion in the energy sector until 2030, stated the country’s minister of Energy, Mines and Sustainable Development, Aziz Rebbah (picture above), this Monday (01), in the opening of the 11th Arab Energy Conference, in Marrakech. The information was published by the Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP). The minister first made the announcement back in September.
According to him, 75% of this amount, around USD 30 billion, will go to projects for the generation of energy from renewable sources, which means great opportunities to local, regional and foreign private companies.
