São Paulo – The National Food Supply Company (Conab) estimates a production of 123.4 million tonnes of grains for the Brazilian harvest of 2004/2005. It is the third study made by Conab. The information indicates a harvest 3.6% greater than in the previous period. The cotton, peanut, rice, sunflower, castor beans, soy and wheat plantations will have an increase in production. The greatest highlight will be in the soy farms, with an increase in 14.6%, or 7.3 million tonnes.
