São Paulo – Oil and gas production in Brazil in November 2018 was equivalent to 3.274 million barrels of oil per day, down by 2.3% over October 2018 and 1% in comparison with November of 2017, according to data released this Thursday (3) by the Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
The reduction according o ANP was due to downtimes for maintenance of the three production platforms, the FPSO Cidade de Ilhabela, at Sapinhoá Field in Santos Basin, and P-18 and P-37, both at Marlim Field at Campos Basin
The oil production was 2.567 million barrels per day, down by 1.8% in comparison with October 2018 and 1.1% over November 2017. The natural gas production was 112 million cubic meters per day, down by 4% in comparison to October of 2018 and 0.9% over November of 2017.
