São Paulo – Oman will hold the first Oman Expo & International Forum (OMNEX) in its capital, Muscat, from February 2 to 4. The event aims to promote investment and expand bilateral trade through a series of activities involving government and business representatives.
According to information from the event organizers and the Embassy of Oman in Brasília, investment opportunities in strategic sectors for the country—such as defense, tourism, energy, transport, education, and the digital economy—will be presented over the two days of the event.
Among the objectives of the meeting are increasing Oman’s trade volume and partnerships, supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, fostering cultural exchange, and signing agreements and memorandums of understanding. Foreign Direct Investment, trade facilitation, infrastructure development, and technological transformation will be other opportunities discussed at OMNEX. More information is available here.
