Paint makers diversify markets and break export record
The growth in shipping is the result of business with neighbouring countries that are part of the Mercosur, the customs union between Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay, and the opening of new markets in the Middle East and North Africa. Last year, Brazil had revenues of US$ 69 million with foreign trade in the sector, a value 22.4% greater than in 2002.
