São Paulo – The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce should present talk "Brazil 2010 to 2022 – Economic maturity and new investment opportunities in the country" at its offices, in São Paulo, on the 31st. The speaker is economist Paulo Rabello de Castro, president of ratings agency SR Rating, to cover several themes turned to Brazilian businessmen. Enrolment is open and should be limited.
The main economic aspects of Brazil, analysis of the current and future scenery, investment opportunities in several sectors and the ease for commercial development of the country should be some of the themes covered by the economist. According to him, the talk should be divided into three parts. In the first, Castro should speak about the global crisis and the scenery for recovery. The second part will be an analysis of the reasons why Brazil managed to overcome the crisis suffering less and the last block should be about investment opportunities.
Castro should also speak about sectors that Brazil may explore further on the Arab market. "The agribusiness sector, for example. The Arab world could be more present in Brazilian agriculture and industry," said the economist. According to him, it is necessary to work more to attract investment in the agricultural sector. "When discussing business which involves risk to capital comes agribusiness, which is strategic to the Arab world," he added.
According to Castro, he is going to talk to businessmen about Brazil as a country that is open to Arab capital. "It is not just in the Agribusiness sector, but also to other sectors, like civil construction, for example," he said.
The 12-year period, from 2010 to 2022, is, according to him, a good period for analysis. "In 12 years it is possible to reach economic maturity with regard to investment," said Castro. According to him, that is the reason for the choice of 2022 and not 2020, for example, and also to bring to mind the 200th anniversary of Brazilian politics. "The scream at Ipiranga," he said, referring to the historic moment at which Emperor Peter, who ruled Brazil during the colony period, declared independence from Portugal, in September 1822.
