Pedalling for the Millennium Goals
The Brazilian Miyuki Okabe and the Spanish Eneko Etxebarrieta started a bicycle trip around the world in 2005, and plan to end in 2015. They have already been in Europe, America and should visit a total of 80 countries, including five Arab ones. The couple is pedalling to promote the Millennium Goals, stipulated by the United Nations (UN), which include the reduction of poverty by 50% up to 2015.
