São Paulo – Last week, Petrobras and Vale signed a protocol of intentions for technicians from both companies to jointly follow up the development of projects in which the two are partners. They will also evaluate the technical and financial feasibility of these projects, as well as study partnerships already underway in nitrogen-based fertilizers, logistics, oil, gas and biodiesel assets, potassium, and thermoelectric.
In a statement, Petrobras claimed that its president, Maria das Graças Foster, and Vale’s president, Murilo Ferreira, met to sign the protocol and discuss the projects. This protocol will allow the technicians from the two companies to devise a work plan that includes schedules and detailed activities.
The protocol will also help the two companies create the legal conditions required for the partnership works to be carried out.
