Rio de Janeiro – A consortium led by Petrobras, Teikoku Oil of Japão, and Diavaz of México, has won an international bid for the production of natural gas in Fronterizo, in the Burgos basin, in northeastern Mexico.
Petrobras, with a 45% share in the enterprise, is the lead operator. Teikoku has 40%, and Diavaz the remaining 15%. The five-year contract is worth US$265 million.
