Rio de Janeiro – Petrobras’s production of oil and natural gas in April, in Brazil and abroad, reached 2.785 million of barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed). The results, according to Petrobras, represent an increase of 0.8% over the previous month, when it reached 2.764 million boed. In the comparison with the same month of 2014, the increase reached 8.8%, with 2.560 million boed.
The majority of this volume was produced in Brazil (2.596 million boed) and also represented an increase of 0.8% over March (2.574 million boed). Taking into account the share produced by partner companies, the total output of oil and natural gas operated by Petrobras in Brazil reached 2.886 million boed, an increase of 1.8% over March (2.834 million boed).
