Rio de Janeiro – Petrobras produced 2.47 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed) in August this year, liquefied natural gas (LGN) included. Domestic output reached 2.35 million boed and non-domestic output was 116,000 boed.
The result was down 5.1% from 2.60 million boed in July.
Total operated production – own and third-party – was 3.15 million boed for Petrobras. The bulk of that – 299 million boed – was domestically produced.
The state-owned company reported that output decreased from July mainly due to several maintenance shutdowns in oil rigs and tankers.
