Rio de Janeiro – Oil production by the Brazilian oil company Petrobras, in domestic fields, grew 1.8% in November this year compared with October, to reach an average of 1.76 million barrels per day.
The increase in production was attained due to the entry into operation of two new platforms, with a combined capacity for producing 280,000 barrels per day: the Cidade de Vitória, on the 15th, and the P-52, on the 28th.
Adding up oil and gas production in domestic and foreign fields, production in November totalled 2.25 million barrels per day, 1.2% more than extracted the month before.
