Rio – Total Petrobras production of petroleum reached an average of 2,062,033 barrels per day in December, an increase of 3,5%, compared to November, and 3%, compared to December 2003. Petrobras is the Brazilian state-owned oil company.
For the year of 2004, average daily petroleum production worked out to 2,020,360 barrels/day. That is just 0.7% less than in 2003.
