Rio de Janeiro – Petrobras has begun to sell assets in Paraguay. The state-run oil company’s goal is to relinquish its entire stakes in companies Petrobras Paraguay Distribución Limited, Petrobras Paraguay Operaciones y Logística SRL, and Petrobras Paraguay Gas SRL.
The Brazilian company is active in Paraguay in fuel distribution and sales, LPG (kitchen gas) and lubrificants, with a network of 197 service stations and 113 convenience stores. The company is also active in aviation, with operations at three airports, and a supplier to major buyers. It is the leading fuel distributor in Paraguay. Petrobras also has a proprietary terminal for distributing oil products in the city of Villa Elisa.
