Rio de Janeiro – Brazil’s National Petroleum Agency (ANP, in the Portuguese acronym) issued this Wednesday (23) the requests for proposals (RFPs) and standard contracts for the next two rounds of auctions for exploration and production sharing agreements in the pre-salt area. The auctions are due on October 27.
Eight areas will be tendered in Southeast Brazil’s Santos and Campos basins. Some features are unlike the first round of auctions, held in 2013. Petrobras, for instance, will have 30 minutes to decide whether it will join the winning consortia for areas where it has a right to preference.
The RFPs and standard contracts are available at http://www.brasil-rounds.gov.br/index_e.asp.
