São Paulo – Peugeot Brazil recorded all-time high sales in the month of June. A total of 7,945 vehicles were sold, compared with 4,452 in June 2006. The figure represented an increase of 78.5%, making Peugeot the fifth vehicle brand in Brazil, with a market share of 4.2%.
In the first half of this year, the brand grew by 28% compared with the same period last year. From January until June 2007, 35,959 units were sold, of which 34,830 were recreational vehicles and 1,129 were light utility vehicles, whereas 28,101 units were sold in the first six months of 2006.
