São Paulo – Two Palestinians and two Israelis are showing the dramas caused by the conflict of the Middle East. This is the theme of play “O Dragão” (The Dragon), which may be seen up to Sunday, at Cacilda Becker Theatre, in São Paulo.
Directed by Ana Teixeira, the drama shows true facts based on documentaries, statements and articles from both sides of the war, like conferences given by Israeli militant pacifist Nurit Peled Elhanan and poems by the Arab Mahmoud Darwich and Imad Saleh.
The play by company Amok Teatro shows independent scenes, but bringing the stories together into the same plot, in which each scene shows a different point of view of the conflict.
