São Paulo – The interruption in electric power supply affected 5.8 million consumers in the region supplied by the AES Eletropaulo power company, which encompasses the capital of the state and 23 other municipalities in the state of São Paulo.
According to the company – which is one out of 14 power distribution companies in the state of São Paulo –, the service, interrupted at 10:15 pm yesterday (10th), returned to normal at 04:00 pm today (11th) in the capital of São Paulo.
The status of the remaining areas, supplied by 13 distribution companies, should only be disclosed by the secretariat of Sanitation and Power of the State of São Paulo, Dilma Penna, in a press conference scheduled to take place early in the afternoon.
