Brasília – Oil production at Petrobras’ pre-salt layer oilfields, in the Santos and Campos basins, reached a new daily record, exceeding 470,000 barrels of oil per day (bpd) month-to-date through May 11th. Petrobras has also reported that production originated from 24 wells, nine of which are located in the Santos Basin.
The company ascribed the good performance in the Santos Basin to the entry into operation of well 7-LL-22D-RJS, on May 9th, with an output of 31,000 bpd, connected with FPSO Cidade de Paraty, on the Lula Field.
