São Paulo – Qatar National Research Fund, an organisation that is a member of Qatar Foundation, opened the third cycle of the Junior Scientists Research Experience Program, aimed at supporting Qatari and expatriate scientists beginning an independent or group research project in any field of science and technology.
Those interested should hold a doctorate (PhD or MD) or an academic diploma in research in their area of specialisation. Candidates should be connected to a local institution in Qatar, to be responsible for analysing and submitting the proposal, and candidates should be connected to this institution throughout the project.
The Junior Scientists Research Experience Program will finance each project with up to US$ 100,000 a year. The duration of each project may be up to three years.
