São Paulo – Qatar is in the process of selecting engineering and construction companies interested in taking part in projects in the country. The Mowasalat Transport Company, for instance, is going to float a tender for the construction of an office building, as an annex to an existing one. The company is responsible for buses and taxis in Doha.
Mowasalat has informed that constructors interested in bidding in the tender must pre-qualify. To this end, they must submit information and a document attesting their capacity. The registration deadline is February 27.
Another enterprise, the Qatar Fertiliser Company (QAFCO), which manufactures urea and ammonia, plans on setting up a databank of potential service providers in civil, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic engineering, among other categories.
The company calls on interested companies to submit a “manifestation of interest” by February 28. Information and documents are also required for registering.
A list of documents required, the delivery addresses and contact information for the two Qatari companies are available in the files below.
