Dubai – Following the agenda with the chambers of commerce of the United Arab Emirates, the president of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC), Osmar Chohfi, visited the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry this Thursday (14). He was received by the organization’s president, Mohamed Ali Musabbeh Al Nuaimi.
They discussed the possibility of Brazilian companies using the UAE as a platform for international business and investments in sports – the emirate is known for adventure tourism – and Al Nuaimi said he would support ABCC member companies in marketing their products in Ras Al Khaimah, in addition to giving support to the Brazilian entity in events and missions.
The secretary-general of the ABCC, Tamer Mansour, also participated in the meeting. He spoke on the possibility of the emirate organizing a mission to Brazil to expand business in the ceramic and ornamental stone sector between the regions.
The presidents of the entities commented on the importance of having a direct maritime trade route between Brazil and the UAE.
The meeting was also attended by the acting director-general of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohammed Al Teneiji, and the director of Investment Promotion and Business Development specialist, Imad Oubiri, among other managers at the organization. From the ABCC, the head of the international office in Dubai, Rafael Solimeo, and the Institutional Relations manager of the organization, Fernanda Baltazar, were also present.
