São Paulo – An event on Brazil-Egypt relations will occur in São Paulo next Tuesday (5). The Brazil & Egypt Business Meeting will take place in the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) auditorium at 2:30 pm BRT in São Paulo. Registration is open for in-person participation. Bringing together Arab business people, the meeting will take place the day after the Economic Forum Brazil & Arab Countries. Both events’ schedules are organized by the ABCC, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary.
The Business Meeting is mainly dedicated to the relations between Egyptians and Brazilians, but business people from any country are eligible to participate. The opening will feature executives such as Alaa Eldin Esmat Ezz, secretary-general of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC), and Nashwa Bakr, Egyptian commercial consul to São Paulo.
During the meeting, there will also be discussions on topics such as the Egypt-Mercosur Free Trade Agreement with Michael Gamal, regional director of the ABCC office in Cairo. The following subject will be Brazil-Egypt Trade and Opportunities, with Marcus Vinicius, Market Intelligence manager of the ABCC.
The last panel will present business opportunities in two Brazilian states. Under the theme ‘Doing Business in Brazil – Minas Gerais and Bahia Overview,’ the moderators, Alaa Eldin Esmat Ezz and Michael Gamal, will receive executives such as Kathleen Garcia Nascimento, Economic Development undersecretary of the state of Minas Gerais, and Paulo Roberto Britto Guimarães, Economic Development undersecretary of Bahia. The event will close with a networking session for entrepreneurs.
