Brasília – Duo Torben Grael and Marcelo Ferreira guaranteed Brazil its third gold medal today (26), at the Athens Olympic Games. They arrived in fourth place in the tenth and second to last event in the Star class.
Grael and Ferreira could have arrived up to the tenth position and guaranteed gold. With this result, Torben becomes the largest athlete in Brazilian Olympic history, with five medals (two gold).
The other Brazilian gold medals were won by duo Ricardo and Emanuel, in volleyball, and by sailor Robert Scheidt, in the Laser class.
