São Paulo – Sales of travel packages to Tunisia by Brazil’s CVC tour operator could increase by as much as 20% in the second half from the first this year. So expects the director of travel agency Tunísia Tur, Slim Fsili, according to information sent by him to ANBA this Friday (15th). A delegation of CVC travel agents travelled to the most popular sites in the North African country through a partnership with Tunísia Tur. Fsili accompanied the group.
“The CVC Famtour in Tunisia was a success; the CVC agents really enjoyed the attractions, especially the desert, the beautiful beaches, the El Jem Amphitheater, the Bardo Museum, the village of Sidi Bou Said, the Chebika and Tamerza oases where [the movie] Star Wars was shot, the city of Hammamet and the nightlife in the city of Sousse,” Fsili reported.
Ten CVC travel agents stationed in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Paraná and Santa Catarina went on the familiarization trip to become acquainted with the destinations the company sells at its stores. According to CVC, these trips enable agents to provide better services to customers.
The professionals left for Tunisia on Saturday (9th) and stayed in the country until last Thursday (14th), when they returned to Brazil. CVC already sells trips to the Arab country under the land-only 8-night package “Tunísia Fantástica.” As of Friday (15th) the price was R$ 3,897.90 per person (US$ 1,286.50).
