São Paulo – Saudi Arabia has extended the validity of expatriates’ exit and reentry visas. State-run news outlet Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the General Directorate of Passports directive applies to visas expiring between February 25 and May 25, free of charge. The move is designed to address the coronavirus pandemic.
The three-month extension applies to expatriates in trade and industry. The Directorate said the extension will be automatic. Expatriates are not required to show up at passport processing offices, and they can check their status via their accounts on the Absher platform.
