São Paulo – Brazil’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Marcelo Della Nina, was welcomed on Monday (22) by Eastern Province governor prince Saud Bin Naif Bin Abdulaziz, in the Province’s capital Dammam (pictured).
Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted prince Saud as saying Brazilian-Saudi ties are compounding continuously through growing trade, bilateral agreements and joint cooperation committees.
He said Brazil, with its technologies and expertise, is a key partner of Saudi Arabia in its Vision 2030 program. The program is designed to diversify the Saudi economy away from oil.
Monday also saw Della Nina convene with Saudi Aramco’s CEO Amin H. Nasser in Dhahran, near Dammam, where the oil company is based.
