São Paulo – Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman held a phone call with the Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro on Friday (13), state Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. The pair discussed the Brazil-Saudi Arabia bilateral relations and ways to develop them.
The crown prince checked on Bolsonaro’s condition, wishing him good health. The Brazilian president was hospitalized in late July with an intestinal obstruction. There was a chance he would have to undergo surgery, but Bolsonaro was discharged after clinical treatment at the Hospital Vila Nova Star.
Salman and Brazil’s president have been in touch and talked on several occasions, including during the visit of Bolsonaro to Saudi Arabia in late 2019, when several activities were carried out during an official mission. The president said then he has an affinity for the Saudi crown prince.
