Rio de Janeiro – The country’s sector of services declined 4% in February of this year in comparison to the same period of 2015. According to data from the Monthly Survey of Services (PMS), released this Wednesday (13) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), services declined 4.5% year-to-date and 3.7% year-to-year. The 4% drop in February of this year was the worst performance of services in a February since the beginning of the historical series in 2012.
